As you have probably heard in the national news the Scilly Isles have been hit by some violent weather recently. While this has caused flooding on the mainland, we have survived most of it here without too much incident. The storn on the 14th of February however did cause flooding and dammage in the vicinity of porthcressa. I took the opportunity to venture out from the cosy warmth of our bed and breakfast to film a short video down at porthcressa so you can see the strength of the sea.
